Working from Home
This is a Guest Post on my blog by Novemberschild (Romila) Just like me if you work from home, you will be very familiar with how the two sides of your life can cross over one another. On one hand, you’re a writer/blogger/businesswoman/entrepreneur, running your work and plotting your future success. You stand in your home office, sipping a cup of coffee, and feeling like the world is your oyster. Then you move into the living room, and suddenly, you’re a home person. You’re a domestic goddess, helping family members and taking care of their every need. You move between the two roles multiple times per day, to the point…

I was writing and that is why I am here to tell you what did you missed. My written articles have got featured in a…

He said Thank You!
12th May, Saturday. I was going college for my last lecture of the summer semester. My rickshaw stopped at the signal where I saw this little kid carrying fancy hair bands in his hand. He approached me and was asking me to buy. I nodded saying ‘No’ but then he kept on saying buy it, need food to eat, in Hindi. And all I did was looked at him and saw how much he was requesting, I felt bad, so I removed my wallet and handed him 10 Rupees note (because that was the only change I had in my wallet). He had a huge smile on his face and…

Book Review- My Midnight Musings
Book – Midnight Musings Author/Poet- Romila E-book format Genre- Haiku poems About the book A haiku (high-koo) is a short three-line poem that uses sensory language to capture a feeling or image. Haiku poetry was originally developed by Japanese poets about 400 years ago. They are often inspired by nature, a moment of beauty, or poignant experience. Since the introduction of haiku to the west in the early years of the 20th century, haiku has influenced the literature of many countries to a great extent. February ends and so does my 28 days of daily blogging!
So its the end of February 28 days of daily blogging. I might have not been able to reach my monthly goals and might not have given my 100% to this 28 days of self-love blogging journey but I did not give up and I tried my best. It was not easy, to blog every day, to think about the content, to blog even after being tired of the long day of other work and have very minimum readers to push you and motivate you and who are waiting to read your blog. But still, I kept going on. To be honest, even without the readers to encourage to blog, I…

Treat your body well
Self-love also means that you must treat your body well. I am trying to get into the healthy lifestyle. Though it is not easy, but who said life is easy? One must stay fit not just physically but mentally as well. Till now I only talked about how to keep yourself happy mentally, how to take care of your mind and soul. But today I will talk about taking care of your body. One must indulge in some kind of exercise, like walking, running, gym, yoga anyone which suits you or you feel comfortable with. Not just that but one must also eat healthily. Green vegetable, fruits, juices, smoothies, and…

Be your own super hero.
We always depend a lot on people around us. But we forget that everyone in this world is facing their own struggles. We are always expecting someone out there to help us and save us from our misery and become our superhero be it your parents, friends, siblings, life-partners etc. But then life teaches us a truth the hard way. We learn with time that no one in this world is coming to save you and only you have the powers to save yourself. Life is unpredictable and hard and it requires constant and extra effort to live. Life is a journey with countless lessons to learn and it gives…

Forgive yourself.
When I look back at my life, I feel sorry, I feel guilty, I feel sad. Because I gave too much importance to people who were not worth my time and my love. I gave too much importance to things that were not needed to be stressed about. I feel I have never lived my life completely. I feel guilty for taking wrong decisions and trusting wrong people. I feel worse to know that people who meant a lot to me once, do not have time to even look if I am okay! today? I feel angry to know that even when there were signs that my decision is wrong, I…
