N- Nature’s Love
With this fast paced life and hectic schedule, I really get irritated and want to just run away with my books to read, dairies to write in, clothes (obvious), phone (without internet, just to stay in touch with family through calls) and a good camera. That’s all. I will have the best of time.
Since past few days, I am surprisingly missing my native place ( which I am usually reluctant to go) but somehow I am really wishing to go there for a good week. But not at this time of the year. My native is Ratnagiri. Not exaclty but it’s within Ratnagiri. It’s a very small village, not so developled, but an amazing place to relax and live around beautiful nature.
Nature never hurries. Atom by atom, little by little, she achieves her work.
-Ralph Waldo Emerson
When I was small, we usually used to visit in every summer vaccation but lately with hectic life and the summers getting unbareable now, we hardly visit. Though, I wish to visit it in winters because I have never visited my native during winters.
The other place I wish to visit is Goa, I imagine myself to write a novel there staying alone in a huge bangalow alone, reading book, writing stories, exploring Goa and clicking pictures.
I love to visit places that are away from cities and which can give us a break from the mundane life. Being around nature is the best way to calm our mind, get stressed free, get a break from everything and everyone and just set free all our worries and just breath.
The mesmerizing beauty of nature makes us feel so calm and gives us an inexplicable feeling which just recharges us when we are back to our hectic schedule.
The life of city is the most unhealthy and we are so used to the comfort of cities that when we visit some unusual place or like say in my case my native, we get uncomfortable with the environment without air-conditioner working 24/7, without refrigirator cold water, sometimes no electricity because of which no lights and fans working, no internet (which makes us worry how are we even going to breathe and survive? duh!)
But I guess, this comfortable life is making us unhealthy no matter how much ever better living of standard it provide us. Our ancestors lived healthy and more than what we will because of the fact they lived around nature more, they worked in fields and did other manual hard work more, they ate more than us but they even burned and had a proper digestive system, their bones and body were stronger rather today our bones and body starts to deteriorate even at a younger age of being 20.
In every walk in with nature one receives far more than he seeks.
– John Muir
It’s time we go back to time, to what and how it used to be, because to be honest it’s not only we as humans who are suffering because of the depleating tress and how we humans have harmed the cycle of nature but also the earth is suffering.
It’s the mid of April and Mumbai already faced Rainfall some 2 to 3 days back. This is not normal. It’s not it used to be. The summers have just begun it should not rain atleast not when its not the time of monsoon season.
We have already done the harm, let’s try take control of things as much as we can. Let’s try to go back to nature than become the salve of machines and technology.
I wish to go in a place and get surrounded by nature and spend some weeks just reading books and penning down my thoughts.
