WishList

C- Cricket. (A to Z blogging Challenge)

I bet some of you must have thought C might go for cooking or something. Well, for one thing, I should make clear to all my readers out there. I HATE COOKING… I hate it from the bottom of my heart. So anything related to cooking, you might never find in my wish list, let alone it never makes me happy so it does not make sense…

My childhood memories make me happy, and strangely I have very few memories of playing cricket during my childhood. I regret not taking my love for playing cricket more seriously and now I miss it.
I don’t like to watch Cricket unless it’s an intense match and if it’s India playing… My love for cricket is not that crazy or deep… But yeah! I love the idea of playing…

I know if I actually, go now and play cricket (don’t worry, I don’t remember the last time I stepped out of my door, completely in a quarantine phase) I might not be able to play properly. It is very obvious, it needs a lot of practice and I don’t remember touching the bat for ages.
Which brings us to the fact that I love batting and not bowling. Hehehe.

I wish sports was as much important to us as much bringing a better percentage than our competitors. But I still see so many parents not taking sports seriously and that is the reason we always take our body and health for granted. If sports is made as much important as our degrees are, I feel we would have healthy and fit kids in today’s generation.

I hate to see kids just sitting on the couch and playing with play stations and with their ipads. I can’t say anything now as the situation is different, we need to keep kids at home now rather let them go and play out.

I feel even women should be more active with sports, I feel we women are more prone to unhealthy life due to workload and home chores and then we start complaining of body aches even before we turn 30. Going to the gym and healthy eating is one thing, but don’t you’ll agree being involved in sports also would keep our mind and heart at a happy and peaceful place?

I always imagine going out on weekends and playing cricket no matter how old I am and just strive hard to be the best player among my team. I imagine to have test matches and having an amazing time of my life.

Now you would say who is stopping me? Knowing my social life sucks and I am never going to work hard on that (lol!) and there are hardly people around me interested in things that interest me, you can call me an alien for that matter. It will not bother me at all.

I am sure some of you’ll be thinking these wishes are a joke but no, I am serious about them. Even though I can’t do them in real as of now… but in my head, I am quite enjoying to imagine what if…Just what if, at the other end, life could be a bit different…
what if…

I’ll take a leave here today… I am glad I am having new readers around. Thanks for all those who share their thoughts in the comment below. I’d love to read more and to all those who visit by and read like a ghost…

    Yay! I love cricket.
I don’t play but I love watching this game.
I wish to watch a game live in the stadium before I die.
Even I hate seeing kids sitting at home and playing on their phones. It irritates me.
I like physical games, sports to be more precise. Hoping you play this game sometime in your life.
