Blogging and Writing Tips

L- Learning a New Language. (A to Z Blogging Challenge.)

Since, I wish to travel to different places in the world, so as a traveler, if I ever get a chance to be I should also be aware of the languages of the particular place I visit.

English is the international language, but it’s also good to know at least some basics of other languages as well.

I am highly interested in Arabic, Spanish and Turkish Languages. Though I find them a little hard to go about.

I also love the sound of the French language. In my school days, we used to have French as an optional language if one decides to study it in place of Hindi. I choose Hindi, as that time studying a different language was not something that I used to fancy about.

Learning a new language is not that easy it takes us back to how we learned English during our childhood days. From just learning to speak or say the words and the sound of words correctly to going to write them from capital letters to small letters, then we learned numbers and writing them down, then slowly we went to animals, birds, fruits…

Then came grammar and sentence formation, it’s like becoming a child again and going through it all over again. It sounds fun but it needs a lot of time, patience and of course practice and commitment to it.

I am currently caught up with a lot to read, writing and improving my art skills be it illustrations, sketching and painting but learning a new language won’t be too tough for me I will keep this wish at the topmost so that I can accomplish it soon, just like learning to drive.

Do you fancy any new language? Or have you ever tried to learn a new language or have successfully learned a new language? Do let me know.

I’d love to learn to write-read urdu. Learning a new language means your brain has to cope with complexity as it makes sense of and absorbs new patterns. Arabic and Turkish are fancy languages and very difficult atleast for me. Hope you learn your favourite preferred language.

Urdu is also an amazing language. I know a bit as we speak hindi and Urdu mix and also my parents read Urdu paper so I sometimes manage to read the headlines. lol.

Learning anything new needs interest and time and, of course, dedication.
I want to better learn the languages I already know. There are so many words that I am still learning!

I’ve read that learning a new language provides the brain with the ability to think in a different manner.
I once started learning Spanish with the help of a book. Sadly, didn’t follow through with it. I’d love to learn the language one day.
I’d also love to learn Bangla, and Punjabi maybe.

I’m greedy about languages, but let’s see what actually happens. 🙂

Nice post. Hope you get to learn French soon.
