It’s been a Year… Life and Blog Update.
So it’s been a year!
I know very disappointing.
It took one whole year for me to realize I have a blog, I am a writer and I should be writing and making use of my blogging website.
But of course! Life and its lemons were really keeping me busy.
No! I am not complaining because many writers and bloggers are going through much worse than me but still making time to write, blog, and hustle through the content writing competitive field.
This particular blog post won’t be about anything related to S.E.O rules. It’s just about life updates, me trying to get back to blogging and writing and of ‘course the artist in me will continue hustling with her brushes and paints.
So last year, when I started writing about how important it is to have a blog website and how content writing could be a career that one could rely on. I even started podcasting about the same.
But everything went down the drain since I completely disappeared.
I then got busy with a lot of life changes.
For example! my brother getting married and me being busy with shopping, decorating, house renovation, etc. Well! Indian weddings are full of a roller coaster ride so let’s not get there.
Because 2022 is the year of weddings. Everyone wants to get married this year. And suck all the energy from me because a year full of constant socializing that too with people I soo wana run away from… ( I seriously wana have that one alone trip and escape from here so badly!)
No! I cannot get married this year! (and let’s just pray the dreadful day is nowhere any sooner.)
Me finally turning into a professional freelancer and having two clients under me and then after almost 5 months things started getting off-the-track and I became a struggling freelancer again with 0 clients.
And of’course the struggling artist within me is still trying to make her name in the art world. Although that will take some time. (Harsh truth to accept.)
My rants can keep going on but…
So let me give you some updates!

I have been doing many online courses to understand freelancing businesses and markets.
I have also been researching content writing and how it works since a lot has changed over time.
I have been doing a lot of paintings and improving my painting skills.
I have started reading books and will review them soon on this blog itself. My current read is “A Man Called Ove.”
I did some writing but on Medium and guess what! I have 10 published articles on medium all done this year itself.
I have also revamped this blog website so do have a look around, especially the home page.
And
With this blog post, I am also starting my weekly newsletter with Substack. Click here to subscribe. I will be publishing Newsletter every Saturdays. What do you get as a subscriber of my Newsletter, some new updates about my art and writing, some book recommendations, Netflix recommendation.
My newsletter subscribbers will be the first ones from now on to get the new updates about any new product launch or about any new updates.
In between all of this I had this huge confusion if I should bring this blog website down and start a new one or just continue with this one.
But then I went back to my old posts and realized how much I have shared on this blog, its like an open diary. Especially my wishlist series.
Anyway, so I decided to edit this blog a bit and continue with this one till I figure out all the mess that has been pilling on since past 2 years now.
So this is how things will go from now on:
Every Monday there will be a post on Medium on Content writing and Freelancing.
Every Wednesday there will be a blog post on either book reviews, netflix reviews, blog about art and writing.
Every Saturday there will be a newsletter in which I will give my special subscribers all the weekly updates, tips and tricks as an artist/freelancer, new art supplies bought if any and if any new product launch is happening.
That’s the plan I wish to stick and I HOPE THAT I SOMEHOW STICK TO THIS PLAN AND STAY CONSISTENT NOW ON…
So, till now that’s it. We will meet next week on Wednesday.
