I Dream of Escaping… Poem

Time and again –
I’ve been wanting to walk,
bare feet on the lush grass.
Enjoy the chirping of the birds while watching the sunrise.
Even just thinking about it makes me feel at ease.
I feel as though I had escaped the grip of this planet.
a running clock that is constantly ticking,
Everyone follows the breed monotonously during the morning rush hour.
Instead, I would select the serene option,
Inhaling the fresh air, having nowhere to rush—a morning I hope to have one day.
I would smile at the sight of a clean sky, bright daybreak, chirping birds, dancing butterflies, and a cool breeze.
Away from this shabby, concrete world where everyone is in a rat race,
Leaving their lives behind, they become the puppets of machines.
In between the hilly regions, far away from the bustle of city life, where skyscrapers are a sin and trees are an investment, I would rather spend this dreamy morning away from the chaos.
Perhaps someday I’ll be able to live out this dream.
I dream of escaping the soul-depleting concrete world and living a life full of freedom and vitality.
